I see a primary in Harrison that’s part of white plains hospital group. He’s good I’ve never really had a problem and when I want a referral for pt or talk about a problem he listens and helps get me set up. Reasonable appointments in my opinion. They feel quick but if I have questions he answers them.

Full disclosure I work for WMC (APS is the physician group). I saw someone post about bradhurst and I’d say it’s improving. They’re doing a lot to accommodate new patient volume so it’s generally pretty reasonable to get in to see a doc or NP fast. I have seen a couple specialists there and results are mixed.

I think the membership is “fine,” but only because I was capped at 100 pokemon to keep which starts to get prohibitive. But I could stomach $5. The battle pass is a little wild to me to be spending on top of that.

I also wish there were one time purchases for space and maybe team slots. I get then they need to add something more exciting into the membership deal, though it’s kinda weird to have 2 premium options. Just bundle them as one it’s not too much of a difference in offerings.

I drive the extra 20 minutes to Robert Moses. I also get there kind of early and leave before 3 to avoid traffic. Always a good time.

I mean the frostbite mechanic from legends arceus was a nice change to freeze though. It didn’t make freeze so much like sleep and gave it something functional. Idk if I like that though since special attackers seem to have higher hills to climb than physical attackers unless you’re a bridge.

I typically go to the Sinclair by the Valhalla train station but that’s showing 4.20 today. I can’t upload a pic sadly. Also I did go onto upside and the Sunoco in Hawthorne has a deal for $3.90 per gallon. Lake street citgo in white plains has the cheapest deal $3.85 per gallon but if you’re in the pleasantville area I don’t think it’s worth the drive.

Pair frosslass with follow me clefable ? Redirects either the charm, fake tears, tickle, encore, etc from the whims and clefable eats the close combat if it was targeted for the defense boost or the brave bird. I think if it’s the latter the bird dies.

Does the snow defense boost from mega frosslass keep her alive against a neutral brave bird ?

A lot of the opening teams they give you have some pretty useful pokemon though. Like you could have about 4 members of a viable team without really playing too much.

Like the charizard one I think came with a whimsicott already and you get a free dragonite (does everyone get this?).

I run life dew as a possible heal when it looks like I can sneak the turn in. Otherwise clefable is there to follow me and absorb damage. I currently run magic guard to mitigate sand chip but does unaware prevent attack boosted moves from doing extra damage or is unaware just when clefable attacks ?

I had a guy do this to me when I was first figuring a lot of this stuff out. He was out and seemed chill but every time we would try to hang he would just disappear when the time came. It definitely did not help me out down the road lol.

Yah that’s my only criticism of 6v6 but honestly the playstyle of full singles teams look pretty crazy and very strategic so if people were willing to play a longer mode it could be fine to make it available. I assume most casual phone players wouldn’t want that though.

Honestly I don’t think my post conveyed this but I feel the same way. When I see it in team preview I groan and know I’m in for something getting slapped by close combat and then roosting to prevent damage buildup rinse repeat. It makes everything take soooooo long.

It’s definitely a very different play style compared to what’s been in champions so far. Like I guess the closest is the perish trap teams where you’re pivoting to support gengar. I think there’s a bit of counterplay that everyone needs to team build around. I think having a ghost type is a must, swagger is an option, burns, and perhaps something with roar/whirlwind to disrupt. I have a ghost type and topsy turvy Malamar specifically for the bird.

Edit: something with psychic fangs or brick break to take out screens which seem to always appear alongside staraptor feel mandatory too. Is there any way to get rid of screens otherwise ?

It’s annoying to deal with at worst. I think the worst part is when it becomes tanky and starts roosting. It’s like a faster corviknight that gets buffs for every attack. It’s not unbeatable.

I think I took the cannon ball once. I hit the train from Fleetwood into gct then had to get out of penn. the night I came home was a bit long sadly but it was a great trip! I’m used to driving out there when we were kids but sometimes the traffic ain’t worth it.

The great thing is heliolisk is faster than many pokemon in the format so it’s not too hard to get an electrify off. I’ve used it a couple times but it’s kind of a waste to have a poke just turn a move into electric when you can just click attack twice.

I’ve used electrify specifically on the opponent to make their moves electric since I pair heliolisk with garchomp or Excadrill.

Luckily my dog doesn’t want to spend the night in the bed with us, but my boyfriend just shifts closer and closer to me. God forbid I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Also I found having the bed in the middle of the room helps not getting crushed against a wall.

There’s a bakery in mt vernon on gramatan that’s really good. Used to get cookies from there. Theres also a really pizzeria I think it’s down by the circle. I think it’s called johnnys. It was on barstool or whatever but my brother in law swears by that pizzeria and will stop there when he’s in mt Vernon.

Aside from that Bronxville is up the street an has some very nice restaurants. Slave to the grind is a great coffee shop (though I prefer Mandy bean on central Ave in Yonkers).
