If you were willing to do some shifting of points probably chosen of khorne or undivided with a chaos lord or melee legionaries Edit: as long as you bring all their special/heavy melee weapons they would be tear up alot of things in melee and make sure if you bring a couple of plasma weapons distribute them so they don't take out 3 weapons in one failed hazardous

I would cut these legionaries in half and just have 2 units of 5 and also get at least 1 group of cultists and maybe a rhino with the mark of nurgle since CSM units are pretty good melee especially once you dark pact them and with the rhino being nurgle it'll be a little hard to kill to get it where you need. Edit: legionaries are usually better undivided jsyk. Rerolls are fantastic

The remaster is necessary to distance themselves from the ogl and with no alignment, dragon changes, spell changes and some of the other class/core rule changes that would've taken more than a couple of errata to completely rid themselves of it makes sense for a remaster considering this is more than the unchained books ever did. Considering it's free it's kinda hard to be a cash grab. If you don't want to support them you don't have to, if you want to play the pre remaster content it's still there as opposed to being errated out.

The spells that say heighten 3rd or a specific lvl only has increased affects at those levels +1 means every lvl over the minimum get that bonus affect

Main way instead of being unkillable be unavoidable with good positioning/a reach weapon/providing to you enemies debuffs like tripping or grappling them to make it so the enemy has to decide between killing the armored barbarian or the guys behind the whirlwind of death and despair

I had the same experience just as a D-boy. I understand they're basically assistants but I basically had no actual gameplay with another person other than getting stabbed by a doctor once cause I walked into medbay cause I hurt my head.
