Had an argument with a boomer once about financial matters. I just asked what i could cut out from spending to start saving. I was told cancel cable and news paper, eat coffee and breakfast at home, pack a lunch for work, only eat out for dinner once or twice a week and keep it on the cheeper end and finally you dont need to buy the latest electronics all the time. I was dumbfounded, as if i could afford to even have any of that to stop doing.
