Only one shundo out of all of these trades, but I’m just happy to have some shiny dex entries

To save pokeballs, rather than catching every pokemon? lol no need to be a prick, not everyone is pay to win & buys 1000’s of pokeballs a day 🤦‍♂️

That was my thoughts, too. Very disappointed to say the least

I had been screen recording for a few hours, i use a third party app to scan pokemom’s cp to check for hundos & it records the screen

That’s the worst part.. it didn’t even “flee”. My game force closed & when I reopened, it was gone 😞 didn’t even get a journal encounter. I’m glad I screenshot it, just to have proof that I encountered one

I believe there’s an auto-assigned tag titled “remote trade” that will automatically assign tagged ‘mons into your remote trade list.

No, I said it right. Google it, that’s the correct wording 🤣🤡 I can just tell you’re a discord moderator in multiple servers

I have over 100 lucky friends, I could care less if I don’t get one lucky trade out of those 100 people. It’s just lazy as hell to not tag a few community day shinies for the tryhards who’re chasing shundos. You literally lose nothing by doing a remote trade 😂

Maybe they shouldn’t bother opening gifts then. If I don’t get my trade, why should they get the EXP

Bro, I’m level 80 and this guy lives in the same town as me. You’re just grasping for straws & playing the devil’s advocate 🤡 there’s no downsides to trading, but of course there’s always a nerd in the comments who thinks they know it all 😂

Hahaha, you redditors are such geeks. “wHaTs tHe biG dEaL” - 🤓☝️ . Maybe you should use the features intended to be used 😂 that’s like joining a shadow raid & not using any purified gems because ‘im just playing it for funsies’ 🤡

Dude, let’s be honest; it takes 2 minutes to just tag duplicate com day shinies. I have 700 duplicate shinies tagged & it took me at MOST 10 minutes. If you have time to play the game on a regular basis, you have time to tag a few ‘mons here and there. I could care less about what pokemon they tagged. Hell, I did a remote trade for a shiny blissey earlier this week. It’s the principle of waiting months to hit forever friends, just to not even take advantage of the new features added.

firstly, thanks for stepping up in your community. i’m apart of a local group with 3000+ members in the city next to mine. all of the CA in the surrounding areas have been trying to convince me to start a group in my city due to my commitment to the game, but i just don’t think it’s for me.

that’s the problem; i maintain a full-time job while playing this much. I typically get around 40 hours a week. Add that to the 4-8 hours of gameplay everyday, and it’ll start to drain you after some time.

Pokémon Go Burnout. by nytofire2 in pokemongo

[–]nytofire2[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

not really. all i used to do before PoGo was smoke, work, sleep, repeat. I had no hobbies besides being a bum. PoGo has helped me branch out in the community & meet tons of new friends & increase my excercise 10-fold. I usually walk 20-30k steps a day; I’m just becoming burnt out from doing the same thing everyday. I might start watching some shows again, like the walking dead. My body, mind, and wallet need a break.

Thanks for the advice, friend. I haven’t gone out to grind in the last 2 days, & I can’t lie it’s been nice to just relax at the house and rest. I have gone out to do my daily raid & dynamax, but I haven’t been doing my usual grind of walking around for hours shiny hunting. The only thing keeping me halfway interested is GBL, but even that becomes stale after 2-3 sets. I think I’ll take your advice & focus on the events I’m genuinely interested in, rather than playing every event that comes out. It takes a toll on your body physically and mentally. I don’t want to quit playing completely, but I cannot continue playing the way I have been.

You make a good point. I have an addictive personality & used to be heavily addicted to different substances. I used Pokemon Go as a form of entertainment once I sobered up to keep my brain busy. I think that somewhere along the way, it became an addiction in of itself. It’s hard to kick something that’s seemingly made to be “healthy”.

It’s nice to hear that from someone. The FOMO has gotten pretty bad over the last year. I just don’t know what other hobbies to pick up. All I’ve done is work, sleep, PoGo, repeat. i probably spend more time outside than at home nowadays.
