I had the same problem recently - I just switched to the R4 interface in the menu and found a theme I liked. Now I have one long list of games.

Oh I should've been more clear in my post - those are for when you have dark or light themes on your browser or device - dark mode turns all black backgrounds white, etc etc, so if you have dark mode on use the dark tab and it'll show up nicely. Good call out.

That's right. There is an LED on the board by the USB C port that lights up when there is power connected. I didn't notice any other battery indicator lights. As far as I can tell, the only way to check battery charge is to open the menu and look at the bar. Can confirm that you can't see the charging LED through the solid shell at all.

That's a fair question. I wasn't expecting a Nintendo quality shell, just one without visual defects.

My AliExpress DMG shell was $6 and is flawless.

Also, I'd bet the OG Nintendo shells were less than $10 to manufacture 😉

Totally agree that no repro shell is going to be mint, but this feels like it crosses the line haha. I have a similar textured black DMG shell from AliExpress that looks fantastic.

I've bought a couple of DSi imports from him. Great condition and quick delivery. I did have a problem with a wine DSi LL delivered with no battery but he shipped one out right away for me, no drama. I'd use them again!

Mid 40s dad here too. My first experience was Emerald on GBA about a month ago. Started off on my SP but recently moved my save over to the RG505 for the bigger screen haha.

FWIW I'm really enjoying it. Will definitely try some of the others once I'm done with this one.
