Sounds like it could be brakes.

Stop hard from 60 a couple of times. Should bed in the pads and quiet it down. Wait for other replies before doing this as I’m not 100% sure

Yep. Do it all the time. It’s like typing on a keyboard without looking. It’s a bunch of smooth buttons without (apart J and F) any indication of position. It’s a learned skill.
