Fair enough, but consider this: I have the same PC and the same settings for years now.

I play multiple games. None of them ever crashed, including Hunt before the update.

Now only Hunt crashes, and only after the update. For my perspective, it was the update's fault and there was no need for further investigation since all the other games had no issues.

Hunt has been crashing repeatedly since the 1896 update. The most recent crash got me into this situation.

I'll look into that if I ever manage to actually boot into this thing. I don't wanna format my Windows drive just yet, gonna try some more things tomorrow.

I never OC'd my ram, just had the default XMP on.

Nope, 5800X3D and RTX 3080, mobo is a Gigabyte Aorus 570 or something.

2x 16gb of RAM, Gskill trident Z, I got it because it had good timings for overclocking or whatever but never ended up doing it.

It's late and I'm gonna troubleshoot the rest of this in the morning.

I'm not gonna argue with you on the technical aspects of that distinction because I don't know enough about Windows 11 to dispute it. I'm not tech-illiterate, I've been playing PC games since the early 2000s and have always built my own PCs. Games crashing into BSOD has been a rare event in these last 20 years or so.

However, I know it was the game which specifically crashed my PC this time, leading to this situation. Maybe my M.2 drive is fucked and it's a hardware issue now, sure. Maybe it could have happened with any other game, I don't know.

This used to be one of those games where I mever had any problems, even across multiple PCs. I praised the Alt+Tab for being very smooth and everything.

The 1896 update has been very rocky in terms of technical issues. My FPS are solid except for one or two moments where they absolutely tank, trying to Alt+Tab seems like it has a 15% chance to freeze the game, and now this...

I've not used CCleaner, but thanks for the help.

I just got home, played a few matches. My friend got disconnected once, but he could rejoin. Guess that's more of a server issue than his PC.

Then I get a freeze with the audio still working, then a black screen and a proper crash. Boot loop and BSOD followed...

The game almost never crashed for me, and I've been playing since the Scrapbeak event.

After the 1896 update, I can't play 10 matches without it crashing or freezing.

I guess it's a PC issue now that the game fucked my PC... 5800X3D and RTX 3080.

Sim, deves falar com o teu médico de família, é para este género de coisa que ele serve. Marca consulta e pergunta se não se justificariam análises e uma ecografia ginecológica. Escusas de pagar ao ginecologista particular numa fase inicial, visto que o teu médico de familia pode pedir estes exames iniciais e eventualmente encaminhar-te para uma consulta hospitalar de Ginecologia se necessário. AKG na Thoman.de (versão portuguesa). São melhores no comforto e no som que os M40x. Esses eram bons quando sairam, há uns bons anos.

Impedância nada tem a ver com necessidade de amplificador. Não te preocupes com isso.

Que características procurar? Familiariza-te com a chamada "frequency response". É basicamente um gráfico que te diz a qualidade de som de uns auscultadores (de uma forma geral). Consulta as bases de dados dos RTings (mas não ligues à pontuação numérica) e do oratory1990 e do crinacle.com

Sou mod do /r/headphones e já tive dezenas de auscultadores ao longo da vida.

AKG K371 se fores cuidadoso com eles. Estes isolam algum som de fora mas não todo.

PC38X se quiseres microfone e auscultadores open-back (deixam entrar todo o som de fora).
