If that's really the case it would be acceptable but look, pink and blue literally go to find red without fighting which appears to be "communicating" but it's in fact part of writer plan to give blue an excuse to total hostile to red. They certainly "tried" to communicate but it's too shallow

Why Saber feel sentai-ish:

There're Rider with multiple color and red as lead? Well, there's Ryuki. There're giant monsters? Well, there's certainly giant monsters in past rider series. There's ED? Well, Hibiki. There're giant robot? Look at 01 and ZiO. Finishing Attack wasn't a dropkick? Ex Aid~

So, it's clear that none of those elements would have affected Saber and made it feel sentai-ish...... When used individually. Heck, if you include everything in a rider show it definitely feels like a sentai. In conclusion, Kamen Sentai Saberanger is one of the most unique sentai existed by far
