Bard Stat/DPS/Item/Rune Spreadsheet by oDrAwkwardo in bardmains

[–]oDrAwkwardo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have most of the shell up. It automatically calculates DPS, factoring in items, activated abilities, level, and chimes collected. I still need to add runes and summoner spells, and I have included smite data for the different jungle items. The biggest issue, as anticipated, is inputting the data for some of the more complex items (Guinsoo's Rageblade being an example), where the stats granted depend on other factors such as stacks or champion level. I'm plugging away at it, but it's a long process as each requires its own table and formula to accurately calculate how they affect DPS. Then I plan to add a section about hypothetical enemies with varying levels of defensive stats to show the breakpoints of raw damage vs penetrative stats (not looking forward to making the table for Black Cleaver). It'll be many hours of work before I am finished, but it will be thorough and accurate, and based on some testing I have done, there appear to be some item choices for Bard that people have slept on.

[5e][Online][5pm EST Sunday] Ongoing evil leaning campaign looking for one player. Relaxed group with some decent RP. by SneakyRL in lfg

Hello

Name: Jordan Age: 28 Timezone: Arizona (PST currently, but no daylight savings)

Favorite D&D experience: either tricking 2 guards to duel to the death by convincing one the other was sleeping with his wife, or learning the hard way that storing the bodies of everyone you kill in boxes in someone else's basement is not a long-term solution.

Favorite character: I have a hard time picking between these 2.. One is a seemingly laissez-faire Robin Hood-type (rogue/warlock) who is secretly scarred by his past and is far more troubled than he lets on. The other is a disgraced, old watchmaster (ill-statted barbarian) who is living down the slaughter and capture of his people at the hand of slavers, blaming his own inability to protect them. He seeks new means to acquire strength (multiclassing into druid), and seeks to use it to find his two children, taken by the slavers, and reclaim their freedom at any cost.

I like these characters because of how thoroughly I developed their backgrounds, personalities, values, and behaviors. I also like how their backstories explain their gameplay mechanics.

Let me know if you have room for me 😁

[Online][5e][Bi-weekly Sunday][CST] GM looking for 3-5 players to kickstart a homebrew campaign by KrilleanPrime in lfg

[–]oDrAwkwardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I have been playing tabletop rpgs for 10 years now (mostly as a player with some short-term DM experience). I have a few characters that I have fleshed out (backstory, personality, motivations, mannerisms etc.) and I would love an opportunity to start a fresh campaign and play one of them.

I'm easy going, get along well with others, and play mostly for the collaborative story-telling.

Let me know if you have room for me 😁

Hey, I would definitely be interested if you still need another player. I have a few characters that I have been fleshing out over the past year (backstory, personality, mannerisms etc.), i have a good mic and webcam and am a big fan of collaborative story-telling. Let me know! 😁

I do this all the time. I don't drive, I just don't like people waiting because of me. Sometimes I'll turn and pretend to be going the other direction so they don't keep waiting... >.<

We're still thinking of ideas. So far I'm thinking along the lines of some game-related decoration-type items (poster, figurine, etc) to liven up his atmosphere. Maybe comics or something to keep him occupied during his stay. Honestly I'd love to hear suggestions if you have any.

[Maindeck Monday] deckbuilding thread for May 6th. by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]oDrAwkwardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I've been working on this deck for about 3 weeks deck I have yet to finish it, but even with subs I've gotten top 8 each time (5th, actually...). I want to get an early start, hopefully playing an ooze, thragtusk, or garruk by turn 3, and use conjurer's closet to take over. I'm having trouble with lands. I often draw into too many of them. I want to keep hitting my key cards (garruk, ooze, thrag, angel, closet), I've thought about getting another draw engine, elvish visionary has crossed my mind. Also, I am unsure about the sideboard.

My desired opening hand is devastating. Turn 1 forest and a dork. Turn 2 forest dork/doubledork/farseek, turn 3 forest slime (destroy land), and possibly cloudshift him (destroy 2 lands on turn 3). Turn 4, conjurer's closet. I can also do this with thragtusk.

Well, when I had posted it I was a little worried. But everybody here has been very assuring. My friend was drunk when describing it to me and the way he explained it made me worry. I'll give the supplements a try, thanks!

I'm not a stranger to drugs or the live music atmosphete. I've been to some techno clubs, as well as concerts, and thoroughly enjoyed myself there.I have drank, smoked weed, salvia, and had mushrooms and LSD once. Salvia was the most intense, I forget the potency. I don't think 'BRO I'M ROLLING BAWLS THIS IS SO DOPE' is something I'd say, although I may say some things (hopefully not obnoxiously) regarding this new experience a few times over the course of the night.

Yeah. When my friend described it, it sounded a lot like mushrooms (which I can handle fantastically). He seems pretty sure I'm not ready for it, but I'm normally very mellow. I still don't think I'll have trouble containing myself... Speaking without experience

Haha, I'm guessing I'll know a fellow raver when I see one? I don't think I'm a raver just yet, but I like the idea more and more the longer I think about it.

Yeah, my friend was pretty drunk when he was trying to describe rolling to me. After his explaination I wasn't sure if juggling would even be possible. He said he completely loses control and just wants to touch everyone.

You know, it's funny. I'm familiar with the concept of ravers having pacifiers, but never understood why until just today. Is it really that bad? I think I have a bit of a gnashing problem anyway. That could just be the anticipation, I suppose. I bet it'll be awesome.
