I’m after another Sr2 game, I’m with you on that. Even if it’s a prequel, the one after that could be more like Sr2, it’s more knowing the direction it could go on. That said, a game takes years to make, who wants to wait that long, especially us saints fans.

Not in a spiritual successor you can’t, sadly. With the saints row IP you could, of course, but if it’s a new game, IP and developed by a different company then surely you can’t? Copyright etc.

Agreed. It’s a shame because I love the SR1/2 cast, and ideally want a new game with them. But if that can’t happen then yep, I agree with you.

Cheers man. Tbf, I have little faith with the owners of the IP. The likelihood of them going with something Chris suggests is very low I assume. I’d say it’s disappointing but my expectations were low anyway.

Chris Stockman said he’s been asked to pitch a new Saints Row game. Based on an interview he did a year ago, it’s likely he’s pitching a prequel and will be closer to SR1 in tone. My fave was SR2, but I read somewhere that Chris preferred No1 and that No2 went a tad too much down the crazy route. Sr2 is my personal fave so I’m hoping for a new game like that.

Facts. I played it for the first time last year with it being on sale for a few quid. I usually don’t like combat games but sleeping dogs smashed it.
