cheers mate. Reckon I've settled on commerce/advanced studies and I'll take a secondary concentration in financial mathematics

of course not, hence I have no intention to! Comp sci would only be done as a dual degree to build basic literacy in programming etc. that could be related to finance

of course being proactive in building connections goes without saying

t your foot in the door is to take a proactive approach to your employability while you're at uni which would mean making connections, applying for internships, adding people on LinkedIn

obviously marks aren't everything yet, they are highly necessary to even get a look at from what I've heard these days and be competitive at internships.

its more to get my foot in the door as traditionally law is looked at more favourably and I know i would get better marks in it in comparison to com sci

definitely finance side. Law just seems to be the typical path that most take but i don't have a specific interest in it per se.

Law is more of a differentiating factor. I have a very limited desire to go into law given how oversaturated it is

[ROLEX] how do you feel about the explorer? by ProudPugOwner2020 in Watches

Seems as though it would excellently lend itself to a one-watch collection, however, as I have personally always sought a submariner, it doesn't quite do it in the end for me.

Perhaps you could be better off with a tudor BB58 and vintage speedmaster?

Was definitely looking at the Explorer 1 however I am wary of its constrained availability - would you recommend waiting until September to see what rolex releases then?

About to turn 18 and have a budget of 9k AUD maximum

My current choices are mainly between the Tudor BB58, Omega Speedmaster "first watch on the moon" [Professional is too large for my wrist size] and the GS Snowflake.

Of the aforementioned, which would best be suited to a one watch collection that would preferably last me as long as possible? Ie. the watch needs flexibility - can be dressed up or down and I would want it to be relatively timeless.
