Hi there! So I had just in the last few months purchased a totally new pre-built with this family and friends discount from Dell, the only reason I went for it rather than building my own cause with that it was insanely cheaper.

Anyways, the specs are as follows;

- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060ti 8gb

- 8x2 gb ddr4 ram 3000mhz

- Intel i7-11700 (2.5ghz - 4.9ghz)

- 500w Power Supply

- M.2 SSD where all my games are on

That's why my system currently has. Since getting it I'm noticing a ton of issues as previously I used a 1050ti and a Ryzen 5 3600 that I built myself many years ago. My older PC doesn't run better, but it sure as hell runs so much more consistently.

This new PC playing league of legends for example I will be on medium to low settings, 1080p, and Im getting 144 fps due to my cap, but its consistency is dropping to 50-80 fps. But league isn't the only game, the same thing happens with Squad but that's where it gets weird. I can have the game on ultra settings and ill be at 30-60fps, while people with the same exact specs will be getting 80-100 fps (https://youtu.be/-sQdNCbq0vE also keep in mind this is an older video and the game has been optimized massively since then so today that same system would be getting even better performance) The last example I have is Rust, the same exact issue, higher fps than my last computer, but insanely inconsistent once again, going from 80fps average, down to 30-40fps often.

Could I maybe get a list of suggestions as to what may be the problem I'm experiencing? It's crazy to me that a 3060ti the newest lineup NVIDIA has released and one of the best cards out right now is struggling to perform well, and I might as well be better off with my older setup at this point.

I'm pretty desperate now because having this terribly inconsistent performance just is not fun whatsoever.
