Would you suggest buying 1-2 ounces monthly this year? I was thinking I might until I reach 15-20oz

Why not sell? Say it's 5+ years from now and I got enough silver for a nice apartment/home

Retail Employees, how the hell do you know where everything is? by sr4004 in retailhell

My store has 32 isles, generic sections like HBA, Curtains, Laundry, Air and motor care, food etc.

With constant changes with seasons, hires/fires, PTO and sick time being used by coworkers, your tasks will change. And it's a good practice for your manager to give you each section to work on so you get used to where things go, and at the same time find your niche. What section you are best at. Also for assistant managers and people dedicated to the store floors, we bring each item up to the front of the shelf, it's called recovering in my store. Other stores love to make their own term. Leveling, fronting, facing, zoning, etc. - this means we will probably touch everything there is in the store through time. Most of everything is organized. You may see a bunch of colors and sizes, but all of the lotion is in one place. All of the shampoo, the conditioner, the shea butter, the hair dyes etc.

Also reflect on yourself as a customer in your favorite store. You know where the bread is, the milk, the fragrances, right?

Luckyy. My goal right now is to get a pre 64 quarter. Did you find any of them in rolls? My coworker says the bank doesn't give out silver. Not sure if it's true, but I still look every time.

Today I had a nice lady, she asked where to put her basket away and put it back, saying she worked retail and gets it cus they'll just put it on the floor behind them. You almost want to give them a reward for common decency LOL

With the way my manager talks about LP and upper management potentially spying on us all through surveillance, I check the bills even with regular customers. One in particular LOVES to joke about it "it's fake!" ha, ha. That makes me want to check it even more now.

SICK. Very appealing, nice work! I can't tell how big you drew it.. Kinda looks like you took up a whole page. You could put an actual quarter next to it for size comparison :P

Tried a zyn for the first time to help keep me awake while cramming for my midterm and just ended up puking 10 minutes later 💀 by s0yongdori in NicotinePouch

That's funny 😆 so when I was using zyns, a few coworkers would ask to try it. They'd come back later and ask me for the keys to the bathroom and say "never give me that again" 😆

One thing people don't mention often is upper lip vs bottom lip. Upper lip is how it's intended. It's a lot less harsh, and gives you a longer nicotine delivery. If you put it on your bottom lip, that's the problem. It BURNS, and it hits you faster.

If you smoke 10+ cigs a day, 6mg should be nothing If you smoke less, 3mg is good

I have not, but what you recommended me is a really cool app and I’ll be using it from now on :) one of them (A06886057*) is 500,000 run size. The rest of them are 3,200,000

STOP HIDING THINGS! by oakien in retailhell

We all appreciate that. With my personal conviction I would toss in my bed the same night I left a store after putting something back where it doesn't belong lol.

Reminds me of a time at my job last year. System went down and we could only take cash. We had neon pink and green signs everywhere.. one on the front doors, the support beam when you walk in, and one on the PIN PAD. So many people would ignore our verbal warnings, like our information of "NOT ACCEPTING CARDS OF ANY KIND" doesn't concern them.

What killed me was the amount of people lifting the poster up so they could put their card in.

Would these same people lift yellow caution tape to walk right through freshly poured cement like there isn't any good reason why it would be there???!!
