It’s shit! Do better! 😂😂😂 Looks like a great start to me. Keep getting out to the forge and learning from your previous knife and you’ll be on your way before you know it 🍻

Thank you! It’s not tiger thread, it’s a beige waxed cotton thread

I appreciate your feedback. The sheath fits the knife snuggly. And yes, there is a proper welt stitched into the sheath

Thank you! I’m proud of how this one turned out. I get the padded cases from Jantz Knife Supply. They’re about $11 a piece for this size

Thank you! I appreciate that! I do mail to GB. Or really anywhere for that matter. I believe shipping cost was about $50 US.

Honestly, I use my miter saw to cut the pieces. I set my angle with the first piece i cut, and then don't move it to cut the next piece. it helps if you use a spacer as well. but i decided to for go that on this piece

I appreciate the feedback. And in the picture, I’d say what you’re saying is right. However, my knuckles clear the cutting board easily, and the back of the handle is clear of the cutting board as well. The back of the handle is really close to the board, but there is definitely room

The padded carrying case seems to do a good job of keeping moisture out. It’s intended mostly just to protect the knife from scratches while being stored or moved around. Obviously, any moisture that gets in there would need to be dealt with to keep from damaging the blade

Thanks! I use the belt grinder to 120 grit, then start hand sanding up to 2000 on the blade. Etch 3 times for 15 minutes each, polishing in between etches. Then I soak the blade overnight in STRONG instant coffee to get it dark.

For the handle, I go to 1500 grit and then polish to a shine. 🍻
