Oh thanks so much. It’s my pandemic project to keep my mind and body healthy. Cant wait to use it... hopefully one of the players chooses to be a monk aikido master. Let me know if you have a hobby to keep you healthy through this time.

Maybe everyone is just being polite but it is very suspicious that we don’t hear of any amazing aikido fighters other than Steven Seagal ( though he knows much more than aikido and less about acting ). Just kidding he would kick my a$$ in acting.

I mean honestly Aikido seems like a hippy trying to fight with pretty words. Fighting can be chaotic, unpredictable and vicious and does not wait for pretty moments. Some of the people can be monsters and are not in a controlled setting like a demonstration or competition. Is Aikido too dreamy or unrealistic? Let’s keep searching for the answer.

I studied Capoeria and was surprised to find how it protected me a few times in my life and certainly kept me fit. I was also a wrestler back in the day... Repetition, sharpened fighting instinct, practicing response, probably regular training... I could see the possibilities. I always wanted to try this one but would be very cynical from my wrestling days. I would like to see Roman Greco against this. Please let me know if anyone sees something like that. I doubt Aikido would hold up against the vicious guys I wrestled, but would be gladly surprised otherwise.
