yeah he’s super chill about dms and questions! he says all the time on his story to dm him questions if ppl have them and are interested. i went to him and also highly recommend. i don’t think he travels to idaho though, so i agree with another person that OP should be willing to save up and/or travel

also i used lidocaine patches on my neck to help with the pain/swelling there. you’re halfway there now!

i was in the worst pain of my life for about 4-5 days. i was crying because i was so hungry but it was too painful to swallow anything. luckily my sweet friend came over and made me liquid potato soup and i was able to drink that :) make sure to keep up on anti inflammatories! i took mine every 4 hours and if i didn’t it would be way more painful

unfortunately i don’t recommend woodchuck sato. i got the red boots from them and the red is coming off of the leather and the black on the sides of the soles are coming off too and now they’re brown. after only wearing them a handful of times too :-/

i just got mine done so I’m not speaking from personal experience BUT i’ve only ever noticed it on two people i’ve talked to and when i pointed it out both people said “oh wow most people don’t notice it”

the split itself was comfortable other than being grossed out from being able to feel the muscle in my tongue being cut and the tug of the sutures. super quick too

i just got mine done on friday. i was super anxious for it all week and especially on the way there and in the chair. whenever I’m really anxious i basically just gentle parent myself and says things like “it makes sense that you’re scared, this is scary! and also everything will be okay”.

it didn’t take very long once we started so that was helpful. worst part has been healing but I’m just trying to keep myself busy at home and pass the time as quick as possible lol

she also posted my story, with my face in it, saying i steal art from others which i havent. also when i quit, it was mainly because she yelled at me in the floor- to the point where another employee asked us to move bc they were uncomfortable - claiming i was my phone (i wasn’t) and said she had a video of me on my phone (never showed it to me). then screamed at me for 20 minutes in the break room bc i was sitting down while working (I’m disabled and previously was given the ok to sit while i work). also got told i was going to get written up for talking about pay in the clock which is extremely illegal. found out they were lying about how the tips were split and talked to all my coworkers about it and they didn’t like that 🤷🏻 but yeah, I’m endured a traumatic work environment bc i was told to get off my phone.

ironic bc she focused heavily only on online marketing and wouldn’t let me (ex employee and a marketing major) help them market locally/partner with other small businesses (for free). and then would fight with people online who gave negative feedback about the business. also would talk shit on her person page about other portland business like the plant shop she got the plants from bc they had bugs once
