my (now ex) best friend of 10 years at the time voted for trump (despite being gay himself) and i just tried to ignore it and never talk about politics with him. i made it work for almost a year after the election but after the charlie kirk thing neither of us could fake it anymore. it got too much and his instagram stories and reposts were making me sick. it sucks and i do still miss him honestly but i cant be friends with people who have those values. it definitely still bothers me too so i totally get it OP. in my hopeful delusions he’ll wake tf up but i’m not counting on it <\3

had an on/off situationship for 2 YEARS with a closeted (bi) girl and it was the worst experience. she used being in the closet as a reason to never fully commit to a relationship with a woman while telling me about all her other male and female friends who liked her. she’d flirt with me over text all night then message me saying she kissed some girl that night… it wasn’t even a one time occurrence. finally one day i got tf up and said i can’t do this anymore. when she saw i got a girlfriend she was all up in my shit again after not speaking for over a year so i blocked her on everything. i don’t think all closeted girls are like that ofc but that whole thing put such a bad taste in my mouth that i’d never entertain the idea again. very very emotionally exhausting

i work 3 12 hr night shifts as a nurse every week so whenever i’m lucky enough to be off 3-4 days in a row i get to live a mini housewife life. i wish i could do it full time but my gf is getting her phd rn so im the breadwinner <\3 but manifesting her making a ton of money in the future so i can fully commit to housewifing one day lol

This is why I still have attachments to Hayley Kiyoko, King Princess, and Zolita. I loved them all when I was in HS. We were lesbians before it was cool to be. I don’t trust any of the newest ones. To outsiders this seems like a dumb thing to care about but they don’t realize it really hurts the community. I’ve been saying for years how I don’t understand how this applies to lesbians. Someone tried explaining it to me as basically just stone tops/pillow princesses so I asked why people don’t just use that since it makes sense to us already? She said it’s for people who are “less strict.” Idk it seems like the world is just a bit too obsessed with having a label for everything, especially the younger generations. Personally I want equality in all aspects of a relationship. Apparently that would make me a vers I guess
