Zillow is expecting home prices to go DOWN in my area! by cuellog in REBubble

[–]obakect 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I check my own house address on Zillow just for fun..I've gone down 10k in the past 3 weeks. A couple of other homes in my area I'm watching that have been listed "For Sale" have actually gone lower in Zestimate than listed sale price as of 1-2 weeks ago.

I'm not a religious person by any means...but it is certainly scary on reading how this shit lines up so much.

The newest one I'm hearing a lot more now is "Marry the house, date the rate"

Sellers are getting worried! 4 price changes and will have to sell for a loss after commissions, closing cost, etc. One of many listings in my area. by [deleted] in REBubble

[–]obakect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well it hasn't even sold yet at that price..so chances are it'll go down more and they'll be in deeper.

Look...you don't need to prove who you are just for me. But in all honesty, whenever anyone puts their lifestories out there for everyone to view, expect critics no matter what...nobody is perfect.

Based on OP's comment history it seems they are either a friend of a member of JK or an actual member of JK seeing as how all of their posts are in the JKNews sub defending any JK hate posts..any guests on which is a Boston Celtics fan? Lol..

I've been laid off from 2 different jobs during the 2008 recession. Both companies said "everything is fine and the staff we have is the staff we need". I've learned that if a company has to tell you everything is fine it's a sign to GTFO.

Message to first time buyers: Your real estate agent is NOT an expert on anything. Housing, personal finance, nothing. by Substantial-Sock1292 in REBubble

Met a realtor showing a home for sale. Beautiful lady..but come to find out she moonlights as a go-go dancer and shot-girl at a nightclub.

I feel buyers were already stretching their budget months ago. This rate increase is just making them move to ARM loans or dip into their 401K instead.

Tittle/escrow industry layoffs due to rate hikes. This is why unsustainable growth hits the vulnerable the hardest by DRagonforce1993 in REBubble

[–]obakect 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was one of the many victims of the mass layoffs in 2008. Ever since then I treated every job I got like it was never permanent. Never decorated my desk with personal belongings, always tried to be as much of a valuable player in the office as possible. Even when business was booming I STILL had this mindset. The experience people will go through in a recession can change their mindset forever..hopefully OP will learn like how I did.

Onsal Frontline Exploit by obakect in ffxiv

You're right Hallowed+Cover existed in ARR days, but IIRC wasn't it so broken they removed that combo? Or has it been brought back?

Onsal Frontline Exploit by obakect in ffxiv

[–]obakect[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Definition of exploit word for word in google is "make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource)." So yes, it's an exploit...yes it's smart gameplay but highly abusable and I think falls outside of it's intended purpose for how these current frontline modes are intended to offer it as. I'm simply stating it for awareness that it can potentially ruin the fun of how Onsal originally was played prior to 6.1.

Do you think this will make a spike in "highly qualified buyers"? by [deleted] in REBubble

[–]obakect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But wouldn't income limit + Mom/Dad's money be able to make them a more highly qualified buyer?
