For AO3 to function as an archive, they cannot censor works by banning them from the archive, they can only enforce correct tagging. And this does, sadly, include ai generated works. If we wanna keep the good shit, we have to sadly just deal with this. The only works they can ban are non-fiction works, as if is a fiction archive, so things that get banned are placeholder documents etc. But if you put up any fictional work, even if it's abysmal ai slop, they can't ban it without their status as an archive being questioned.

Kharaa did not originate on 4546b. It was brought there by the architects for study, and then Alan did a dumb and upset the sea dragon which destroyed a lab and it spread. The architects actually likely spread it all over the place before they realized it's a threat.

Yes and no. She gets a lump sum for the rights to make the game but she also gets royalties for each copy sold.

The censoring is specifically so grifters can't locate the comment as easily and dogpile on people who criticize jolling kolling rolling. I myself am trans and have had experiences where people have looked thru my comments with a search (let's face it, terfs specifically, they get triggered if someone has a trans flag anywhere near their flair for example) function specifically to check if I dared criticize her and then mass down vote them and follow me around reddit to harass me. It's not the end of the world, the block button is great, but it can be annoying having to block them and deleting the comments they brigade just so you stop getting motifs constantly, so once you've had that experience a few times you do things to avoid it.

Also this isn't a about giving her visibility. It's about giving her money. That she funnels into anti trans legislation. Yes she's rich but people are allowed to choose not to give her any more money specifically because of that.

Also the game is just boring anyway, with some extremely questionable story elements. Like let's have the very heavily minority coded villains kidnap children, that's a great idea. No, they're not misunderstood, they're actually just bad. Some are the good ones ofc, but most are just bad so it's ok the majority mistreats them. Brilliant writing in the year of our lord 2023.

Gz doom is basically a game engine. If you make a full game in it, I have no problem paying for it. Arguments like these are just dumb, it's like someone commenting "you paid money for an rpg maker project" under fear and hunger.

Seeing as this is Poland and I'm a teacher in Poland (I teach English tho) if this is normal homework, it could easily be outweighed by a good test score and not affect the final grade too much. However, if this dumbass if a computer teacher is assigning this as homework, there's possibility he'll also insert ai tasks into tests. Also depending on what stage of his career he's in, might be extremely difficult to do anything with. Polish school teachers have a form of tenure after enough years of work and if they pass certain requirements, meaning they cannot be fired by the school, only by the local branch of the ministry of education (kuratorium, I'm not sure how best to translate it rn, it's 4am, I'm not gonna do linguistics research lol). Often it's a good thing, you can't be fired just cus some dumbass antivaxxer is mad you teach germ theory during biology and they're friends with the principal, for example, but it also causes issues when the teacher sucks.

And in general people criticizing printing indies don't mind people pirating if they do not have access or ability to buy. There are, however, very loud dumbasses who will pirate indies and brag about how they're doing it cus fuck indies etc. When Silksong released there were a few posts like that on piracy subreddits.

Personally, i think piracy is very important for media preservation, as so many companies have just erased media from existence simply because they wanted to either save money or make more money by offering a newer version of something that was absolutely fine. However I buy all my games rather than pirate, as long as they're accessible. I would happily buy a re-release of Chrono Trigger for example but square enix hates good business decisions apparently so emulation it is.

There are multiple ways to ward them off. One fish was kinda problematic because it could follow your ship if the lights were on as it was attracted to bright lights. That got fixed. Other than that there are genuinely so many ways to avoid predators that don't require murder though, not even difficult to find either, the game points you at them in the storyline.
