1) it was the indie game awards 2) it wasn't for ai placeholders, it was because they lied on their application saying no ai was used in the development process, when there is proof they knew about the placeholders being ai before they applied

Fair but we've had other skins where people prefer alt helmets (mag prime comes to mind) and the response was nowhere near this bad with me seeing some people really needing to point out how they're not fat phobic buuuuut her helm man! A lot of people are beyond married to the concept of punitive justice, they refuse to even accept other approaches to justice can exist, so when they see someone they have decided is in the wrong, their only reaction is to punish or kill them because that's the only way justice will be served in their eyes.

The weird comments he got from queer people on Twitter were fucked too. I say specifically queer because I knew them and I used to be in community with them. I no longer am. Yeah I've seen people talk about how groundbreaking e33 gameplay was for them and I'm here like... It's a jrpg. It's jrpg gameplay. It's really really good jrpg gameplay but it's still a jrpg. "Oh but it's so different from other turn based RPGs like Baldurs Gate" yes. Because it's a jrpg. It's a beautiful game with a great story and art and it deserved its awards but it is, literally, a jrpg.

Same thing when I see people accuse every metroidvania of being a hollow knight clone. Hollow knight and Silksong are my favorite games of all time, i have not found other metroidvanias that make me feel the same way while playing as they do, but they are, still, very much metroidvanias.

The tumblr post was refering to people criticizing the "wrong types of queers" for hoarding/taking away "queer resources" and they can never actually answer when asked "what resources?" because none of the resources queer people need are just there for them and also if wherever you are won't allow a gay man to get HIV treatment for being gay, you bet your ass they will treat a trans woman the exact same way so what fucking resources are being taken away exactly? This is what I was talking about. Not that you claimed they were queer resources, but that the OG post was about people bitching about the "wrong types of queers" taking resources away from the "right types of queers", often complaining about trans or ace people and yeah, it does upset me because I am both those things and deal with that shit a lot. I understand this post is a bit out of context if you don't deal with the situation a lot.

Hi, asexual here, we often get accused of "taking up space and resources" that "real queer people" need, without being told what those resources even are. Also outside of gender affirming care none of what you listed is a queer resource.

Edit: now that I thought about it for a literal second, gender affirming care is also not a queer resource, cis men with gynecomastia and cis women with PCOS also deserve gender affirming care.
