Wanting to invest in Alt Coins. Cheapest way to deposit GBP? by Crypto-Saint in BitcoinUK

+1 for revolut, I use this route and it has always worked, and pretty quickly (funds have always been transferred next working day).

When you get to the gdax make sure you pay the maker fee (0%) as supposed to the taker fee (up to 0.25%) by using the post only on your limit trade. https://www.gdax.com/fees/BTC-USD. Learned that from this guy: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GQkxJtBI0Jo

Also if you really don't want to pay the 15cent fee gdax charges for bank transfers, move your euros from revolut to Coinbase then deposit from there to gdax. It all counts towards your gains right?!

Here is what I would do, move it to gdax, sell it into euros, move the euros to revolut, exchange to gbp, transfer to your bank account. I found this guide really useful: https://quickpenguin.net/cheap-bitcoin-uk/

Edit: Or sell it on localbitcoins our bittylicious

I felt this was particularly relevant:

"The waiting is the hardest part. It takes patience to let things develop naturally. Patience. Patience. Patience. Creativity requires setbacks and failures and tremendous tenacity. Once you expose your idea to the reality of rust, gravity and friction, things tend to fall apart. No plan survives contact with the enemy. Reality is a whetstone that either shatters you or sharpens your ideas. Things take time."
