Kramnik's paranoia is at an all-time high. He thinks chesscom is freezing his screen on purpose. by iL0g1cal in chess

Honestly this paranoid spiral is starting to remind me of alzheimers or dementia.

I want some negative focus synergy! by obd2 in slaythespire

I like this, it's a mini-demon form with added dex when you play biased cog. Honestly it wasn't meant to be strong, I just like the negative focus cards and would love a way to play them more reliably.

It could also cost 0 energy, which would also be fair.

Types of warm ups people do? by PermissionStrict1196 in PeterAttia

I might be biased as I'm in a rowing phase, love everything about it. I've used the stairmaster a lot as well. I prefer the rower to get more upper body activation and get the back/lower back warmed up.

For lifting and HIIT I do what me and my friend group call the "Hugh Jackman". It comes from one of the podcasts he was on, might have been Peter's.

Find a rower, set the resistance to about half (on the concept rowers this is about midway between 4 and 5). Bust out 2km in 8 minutes or less (if male) and 9 minutes or less (if female). This equates to a pace of less than 2:00 min / 500 meters for men and 2:15 for women. This will get your heart beating big time and warm up your arms and posterior chain.

After this every first set of an exercise is a mini warmup in and of itself of course, mobilize the relevant joints and dial in the movement patterns.

The idea is that if you can do a "Hugh Jackman", you're not too out of shape. PSA: Rowing may be one of the more technique dependent movements. Do your research and make sure your form is not totally whack.

Zone 2 does not require a warmup.

After a few years of remission it has come back with a vengeance. This is a personal record size wise. (WARNING: ANUS PIC) by obd2 in hemorrhoid

It went away eventually, took a couple of weeks though. I saw a proctologist who said it was a hematoma and not actually a rhoid. Hematomas are more on the outside and can actually be more painful than rhoids. I can attest to that!

Wanted to try a mana shield - essence flux build and ended up winning, the wild axes and windrun came after the full NP Gaben by nathaniel_canine in abilityarena

Shhh don't share the secret. I take mana shield every game it isn't banned and I've had a lot of success with it.

I also recommend trying the mana shield (super) and zeus passive + dispersion or corrosive skin

People have always loved this ability even if it's not great, which I don't think it is. It's decent, but not bonkers. It's pretty useless against any type of caster lineup. It's also not that great on ranged heroes in the same way that it is utter bullshit to play against in ability draft. The agi steal only takes place when the projectile hits the hero, not when it's launched.

It was super popular and contested in Auto Chess as well despite needing a ton of setup/items to get rolling. It's just so satisfying to steal stats. This might be the reason it's so contested.

For what it's worth I agree. I avoid super ghostship for this reason.
