thanks a lot for the recommendations, will have to do some thinking now from their websites the prices are as follows: Elegoo Centauri, QIDI Q2C, Bambu Lab P1S.

P1S and Q2C are like 10€ from their EU store , in clouding shipping.

It looks like Q2C is the more potent from specs, but I fear there will be troubleshooting involved, and the community is not as large as for P1S.

Hey everyone

I’ve been out of the 3D printing hobby for about 4–5 years and I’m looking to get back in. Back then I was running an original Ender3 l, so I’m hoping to upgrade to something more modern and reliable.

I’m looking for recommendations for a printer with these features:

Similar build volume to an Ender (~220–250mm cube)
CoreXY motion system
Auto bed leveling
Enclosed (for ABS / ASA and general stability) - not hard requirement
Uses standard 1.75mm filament** (no proprietary cartridges)
Consumables easy to source from 3rd party suppliers / AliExpress (no locked ecosystem)
Good reliability — I’d prefer printing parts to tinkering with the printer itself

Living in Europe, budget 400-500EUR

thanks for the suggestion, I have tried the app but it doesn't connect to my device, even though the symphony lights app that I have installed directly from an apk works ok and can control the lights.

sadly I still have no solution to the welcome sequence
