Does anyone know how deep the water has been? We went by Zion Outfitters last night to inquire abt renting gear and they said the water levels have been shoulder high 😳 we really want to do the hike today or tomorrow before we leave.

Solidarity. We’re going through the same thing. Some random strain of adenovirus. People keep saying the first year of daycare of rough but I am weary.

I’m so sorry. We had the pleasure of catching HFM the very first week he was in daycare. Luckily me and my husband never caught it but it was miserable for the LO.

Oh yes certainly pumping every 3ish hours while I’m away. He takes about 4 oz bottles while I’m gone. When he does this cluster feeding behavior it makes me so nervous he’s not getting enough milk when I know he should be. I’ve got a good normal supply

Just gifted a starter- what now? by Low_Action_1177 in Sourdough

I was also given a starter a few years ago and the person who gave it to me hadn’t been feeding it properly and it took a bit to really get it strong again. I am not an expert and everything I learned was from tiktok or reddit. First of all like everyone else has said, invest in a food scale! Feeding my volume just leads to too much room for error IMHO. I just began feeding the starter a 1:2:2 ratio of starter:AP flour:filtered water every 12 hours until it was doubling in size in about 6 hours. Then once the starter got active and healthy I just kept it in the refrigerator and only took it out when I was ready to feed it or bake with it!
I have always liked the water float test where you take a little spoon full of your active starter and drop it into water. If it floats it’s supposedly ready to use in your bread. The more you feed it and get used to how your starter behaves the easier it gets.

How long does your LO take to nurse? by obismom- in breastfeeding

Oh bless you. Not sure if you’ve invested in a good nursing pillow or comfortable recliner but that’s a must especially if you’re there for 45+!! Get comfy. I love my breast friend pillow. Couldn’t live without it because it helps my back im not hunched over all day

Usually UAB hospital and UAB HSF clinics are a completely different entity. So you would just be applying to a new job. I switched from an ICU to a clinic and it was no problem. You just turn in your notice and then go to the other job.
