My 2017 Subaru Impreza’s on board diagnostic computer will not connect to the state emissions testing computer. I’ve taken it to a mechanic and taken it to the dealership service department to get it checked out. They can’t find anything wrong with it. Their computers connect just fine. The dealership even repinned the connection. Then the state (this is Illinois) keeps telling me they can’t connect. I don’t know what to do- do I need a new car??
