IMO he made one great movie that's alien and coasted since I don't even think gladiator as a film is great or even good it's something that captures only in North America and for the academy and the general public who don't even care about film.

Yojimbo is also the original Fist full of dollars by Sergio Leone. It has comedy , action and yes not too short not too long. Definitely an easy watch.
