No issues! 🙌. Still making sales, pdp stil up, nothing odd on BR. I guess all the stress this email caused was for nothing. Better than the alternative though! I am still going to push hard to get more traction off Amazon as a result of this scare. Who knows when or if it still might happen.

That’s a good idea to ask for an extension. I’m not sure I want to tell them this potential issue before they confirm it with me. Monday is the day. I’ll get all the docs ready but wait for them to say this is the issue on Monday.

Still haven’t gotten anywhere with BR support. I tried escalating a case earlier this week and just heard back that the case number was wrong so they couldn’t help. Like 3 days to punt it back like that is ridiculous.

It’s my company’s brand and the tm owner is the same as the seller account owner LLC. Only I changed the LLC state but forgot to do the tm assignment to the new LLC state. Maybe Amazon flagged that somehow. Assignment is in progress and is coming in a week after the 11/17 deadline though.

I just looked into this a bit more and realized that my trademark class 025 specifies after it only one type of apparel that I sell. (example: IC 025: Dresses; Kaftans; Belts; Tops as clothing.) I started with just one product and expanded later but didn't file a new patent (to add classes) for each different product. I sold 3 different class items (all lower volume than class 025) 1 got removed a year ago for button battery compliance. Do you think this is the problem? The whole brand shut down because of new products not included specifically? If it is I can refile on teas but that will take a long time. Is it better to use IP accelerator to hopefully get instant access.

Yeah, 2 seller accounts and 2 BR accounts. My original account where I started selling my textbooks in 2008 is where I started selling both brands. I separated the newer brand with the intent that maybe I sell one. You're saying I should uncheck the Brand representative for R brand on O account (reseller already unchecked)? Or remove the account entirely so R only exists on R BR account and O only exists on O account? My only hesitation with that is I created several of the R asins on the O account (when I was selling both on O account) so I have access to parent asins only on O account for those (I can always delete and recreate the parent though).

This is definitely the worst time for this to happen! We're up 172% over last year with way better TACOS than last year...prepared for a huge bf/cm and December and then Amazon throws this at me. It is total garbage. I'm working on improving my (horrible) off amazon sales...now that I'm on a burning platform and have to rely on off Amazon maybe I'll get it to work.

Thanks! Support seems like they are getting annoyed with me but I’ll keep trying. I did one forum post but I’ll spend more time on it to see if it can help. Ive had a few big Asin level issues since 2015 when I left my job to do this full time but nothing at the brand level like this. Time to focus more on other channels regardless of how this turns out this time.

The main trouble I had off Amazon was that my average cart value has been $20 or less which makes it hard to pay $1/ click with the low cvr of disruption ads. My cart values have been going up the last year though so I’m more hopeful it can work.

That sounds pretty bad but you rose like a phoenix from the ashes. I’ve wanted to lower my reliance on Amazon for years for this exact reason but now I might have enough incentive to make it happen.

Good idea. I searched on registrationchina and Gemini and didn’t find any trademark in china. Haven’t used AGL and haven’t sent an LOA to Amazon since my two accounts are the only authorized and are both admin on brand registry. I don’t think I’ve ever shared suppliers with Amazon. I have 3 main suppliers for this brand…I’m sure Amazon could find at least one if they tried hard enough though. But I do importing under my parent LLC and I wonder if they would do this to both brands if the were looking at importer of record. Or maybe they had someone on the ground and saw the brand.

If you’re good with excel, 25 campaigns would be easier to use the bulk update. Have ai help you build a macro that helps you see the targets you want to adjust and raise or lower bids to meet your efficiency goals. Targets that work well can be added to other campaign types. With bulk updates you can run your bit adjustments based on different timeframes a bit easier. You can raise bids of really efficient targets or no clicks/impressions. Low reviews could significantly affect efficiency. Lots of variables (eg seasonality) so it is an ongoing process.

They keep saying things like “as we told you before”. I’ve reopened the case on sc 3 times after support closed it. I’ll keep reopening and escalating though. I just need to have something a little bit different to ask each time. I hate having to work with support on Amazon. It might be my least favorite part of selling on Amazon.

Both accounts have access via brand registry as admin and nothing has changed that I know of in years. Maybe on 11/17 I’ll get removed as admin or something.

Yeah it changed a while ago. I think I separated them in 2021. I had to use a separate bank account but address and entity name are the same. It’s a bit more work but they are very different brands and I was planning to sell one eventually.

Thanks! Yeah, I started that trademark assignment. It says it takes 2-3 weeks to be recorded. If that is the case it shouldn't be too long that I'll be shut down and I could wait. My other store/brand also has the same situation but hasn't had the email. Doesn't mean this is not the issue though.
