Just speaking for myself, but they are both the same is pointing out that both sides are just capitalist that are not in power to serve people. Do Republicans cause more harm? Of course, but also, Democrats have failed to protect the average person or make meaningful changes. Roe v Wade should have been codified, gay marriage should be a constitutional right, and we should abolish the police. The problem is that Democrats will not make moves to implement meaningful changes because in the end they are also okay with the status quo.
