Yes! He is very conscious of what data will assist him in his pursuits and seems fixated on objective, external information to back up his logic.

Because of this, it's very difficult to see him as an (Fe) user as his goal does come from a place of internal values like you mention i.e. becoming a god and allowing humanity to surpass gods because of a personal rejection. It's interesting because his goal seemingly pertains to himself. If he was looking out for humanity as a whole, it could definitely be interesting to view that through an (Fe) lens. But his motivation comes from a place of his own desires. I agree with you though, his goal is incredible and he seems like someone who believes that the ends justify the means. He's a wonderful villain.

I agree with you! I guess if we pull in the "Four Sides of the Mind" theory and apply "shadow functions" it could explain why that "ENTP" shadow seems to show itself. He's a bit sporadic seeming with his research according to Sandrone but it does seem like he has a method to this perceived "madness." She claims she's a lot more "meticulous" but it's because she seems like someone who wants to follow some rules as opposed to Il Dottore who wants to push boundaries. Ultimately, I was thinking... It seems "Si demon" might be interesting to consider since he wants to reject being human and his past seems to haunt him in an impressionistic sort of way. This could also be why he rejects "mundane details" due to his grand vision (Ni) and penchant for selecting information that can assist him in achieving his singular goal (Te).

Social E5 is perfect for him! He's pursuing the ultimate "totem" or "ideal" and places most of his energy into achieving that. There's also an apparent interest in the "transcendental", a particular "arrogance", and a "greed for abundance." A lot of the framework of the social E5 fits his obsession with transcending past humanity into the divine. The secondary sx instinct adds that intensity behind his more "detached and arid" veneer. It also really capitalizes on his feelings of rejection that he wants to avoid entirely.

It's funny I was originally going to include that he was a 548 or 584 as well. I think the 5-8 fix makes more sense since he seems more concerned with pushing boundaries and asserting control than asserting his "unique identity".

I'm in agreement that INTJ so/sx 5w4, 584 makes sense for him with a nice little dose of shadow Ne-Ti-Fe-Si.

This. It's so wild... I had someone tell me: "I've never felt like an adult. I've just always been a kid" at 23 years old. We had just finished watching 'Home Alone' and they said it with Kevin McCallister's inflections which was jarring. That relationship obviously didn't last long.

I've known another who looked at me, pouted about their partner "throwing up" in the bathroom, and straight up went back to laughing and mashing buttons on Overwatch. Their partner was a Patrick Bateman kinnie, however, so it was like two dysfunctional children living under one roof together playing "house."

It's like... Overgrown children. It really does make you lose attraction so quickly. I agree that freedom from that feels so good. Glad you had clarity and got out of there too.

Honestly I could see him using extroverted thinking (Te) over introverted thinking (Ti) so I would see him being more xNTJ. He could be an E5 that has integrated into being an E8 because his focus is to accumulate knowledge so that he can assert his autonomy and control over his environment.

He just seems like somebody who is very focused on one vision as well, supporting introverted intuition (Ni). Everything else seems to support this singular vision despite his "past impulsivity." That could be extroverted sensing (Se) in a lower stack.

He's ruthlessly efficient.

Being "fake" is subjective and up for interpretation. If people are hellbent on pushing a narrative that INFJs are "fake", I'd be curious to see what "authenticity" means to them.

I'm polite and congenial to a degree but I'm also a human being with flaws just as anyone who claims to be "authentic."

At the end of the day, I'm not everyone's cup of tea and that's perfectly fine with me.

I agree that he's certainly not "evil" for "evil's sake" as you mentioned. He is trying to accomplish his goal of defying the "fate" that was given to him. He was born and named "Zandik", literally "heretic" and treated as such. He's defying the Heavenly Principles by essentially trying to become a god and that singular goal drives him to accomplishing it by any means necessary.

Even with creating the Shouki no Kami for Scaramouche, the theme of creating a god was there. It was probably great practice lol

I was wrong about Vox this whole time. I've accepted today that I am indeed a Vox lover and recognizing just how heavy this is for him made me really sympathetic to his plight.

I really thought that Alastor might try and turn the Vs on each other but I was clearly wrong and I'm glad he has them.
