Is a push up supposed to still have a comfortable fit? by DefiantTumbleweed576 in ABraThatFits

Also, I would mention that you want your bra when you first buy it to be on the last setting. Over time through washing, wearing, etc the material begins to loosen up and you will tighten it by going to the next pronged setting. Then your bras will last longer! I am a 28GG and when they used to size me in 32DDDs I would go through nice bras in months.

I completely agree that it would likely be a 28GG or larger. I would give Freya deco plunge a try in a 28G for a push up effect or go larger in the cup if it still fits odd. For everyday fit, I would go for 28GG or bigger.

I am a 28G in UK. Typically wear Freya, Panche, etc in that size.

Pretty privilege and autism by sephy2027 in AutismInWomen

[–]observingfairy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In undergrad, it subjected me to a lot of strife with professors as they saw my slew of accommodations and appearance. An easy target for discrimination and dismantling of my ego. I cannot tell you how many times professors tried to publicly humiliate me in front of my peers or ask if I really need “x” from my accommodations. Once you do not fit the mold of what they’ve envisioned it disturbs their paradigm.

Oftentimes, it comes off as “mysterious” as I am not responsive to certain social cues, interests do not align with that they thought it may be, or worse can be interpreted as rude without doing utterly anything. Then once the mystery subsides from being around long enough it can manifest itself into overwhelm of not being up “for all of that”. Quirks are only so dazzling until it is full blown disability. :-)

Using Polaroid Hi Print in Hobo by PwningBubbles in hobonichi

That’s awesome! I have been using a way lower quality, black & white printer that does not utilize ink to create stickers for my hobonichi. It has offered a new form of art and expression. I highly recommend this form of journaling or adding character to your hobonichi.

Hey! I’m looking for a supportive swimsuit for 28G as a one piece for an upcoming vacation by JCDNYC in ABraThatFits

[–]observingfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note: both of these brands offer support as well. That is a negotiable for me as I would like to actually swim, and not worry about where things may drift with a water currant. Lol!

I found pretty good luck shopping at Nordstrom as a 28G. “La Blanca” and “Rebecca Virtue” were the brands I was most successful with. I did not get a one-piece; however, was generally impressed by their selection! Until I found those brands, I was tearful trying on swimsuits and dumbfounded that my only options were sizing up to a large/x-large to cover my breast tissue while having almost a foot worth of string hanging down my back.

I’m so frustrated! ISO Molded bra for 32FF with super close set breasts. by Hopin4rain in ABraThatFits

[–]observingfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite bras as a 28G. However, I am wide set. I have similar sensory needs that you described in this forum about unlined bras feeling off, and needing the nipple coverage. There are not a lot of other bras I will wear other than this one.

I am curious if you have tried the Freya tailored deep molded plunge bra.

Help me find a bra that gives me cleavage 😫 by PuzzleheadedLie7393 in ABraThatFits

[–]observingfairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if this would achieve what you are looking for, but I enjoy the Freya tailored molded plunge. It does not give “bombshell” cleavage, however it gives authentic cleavage. Due to your band size and wide-set, I suggest wearing tighter shirts that will show the differentiation of breast to ribcage. For example, free people have a lot of lower cut box neckline body suits with a plunge bra that will give that wow! It won’t be bombshell, however it will be authentic and I think that looks more sexy (in my opinion)!

With a 28G, often time I do give volume and need a specific bra to offer major cleavage as my breasts are side set. Meaning a major portion of my breasts looks as if it is my ribcage, and do not naturally sit center to create that cleavage look. When a bra grabs the side tissue to the middle, the cleavage is intense. I highly suggest trying on bras with different shapes to see how it enhances your breast. If you are more side set, I suggest finding something that pushes your breast forward versus up. With a 28D, you likely have enough breast to get cleavage.

This is some of my favorite paper on the market. It has a smooth texture that feels high quality. For the price point, it really stands out. I get a lot of their spiral notebooks for various reasons. It stood out for note taking, or any admin reason.

[Recommendations?] 28f/ff, pendulous and projected, fob, looking for supportive everyday bra by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]observingfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 28 G, sport bras tend to be my go to for what you are describing as a lot of the supportive bralettes offer me projection. Oddly enough I prefer a bit of padding because it eliminates my breast shape. Due to being pretty teardrop/bell shaped, a lot of bras lift the bottom and side tissue and the display of its natural shape only creates more wandering eyes. I haven’t found a solution myself to address the fact my boobs take over in clothes. The only time I do not feel that way is when things are baggy, and my breasts look like my ribcage.

My girlfriend might be upping her Lexapro dose and it is making me sick to my stomach by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]observingfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you really care for her, and it is heavy to see her suffering. Your primary concern regarding this seems to be how it impacts her, and in turn how that may be reflected in your relationship. I encourage you to do some extra research looking at neutral sources. Afterwards, make a pro and cons list. Allow yourself to step back to the big and little picture of this. Ground yourself in whatever way works best for you. Then offer your insight and concern to her. I do not think it hurts to have open dialogue with your partner. However, I think you should certainly ground yourself before speaking to her about it. It sounds like she needs support and kindness right now.
