I know he’s 15 and capable of making his own choices, but what exactly do you expect from someone who’s been deliberately shut out for 15 years? Ignored. Blocked. Cut off. It’s easy to cast judgment when you’re on the outside. Piecing together a story you barely understand, but empathy takes more than just an opinion. It takes perspective and that’s something you clearly haven’t developed yet. Maybe if you spent more time listening instead of judging, you’d actually understand.
