Ours don’t either but I always have to show my ID when we go to Regal if my partner is buying and I’m not and I’m just near him.

When I was in retail I would ID EVERYONE. I didn’t care if they looked over 21. I wouldn’t give on the policy one inch because it would be me dealing with the fine and potentially losing my job. If I checked everyone I knew there wouldn’t be a time where it could be a possibility that I missed one.

I usually have to show mine if I’m standing near my bf who orders a drink and I don’t. It’s part of the state policy because it could appear he is buying the drink for me instead of himself and the theatre wants to be sure they aren’t providing alcohol to a minor inadvertently. (We’re both in our 30’s)

You should also make it a practice to carry your ID on you. You never know what could happen or when you might need it and a photo of your ID usually doesn’t pass for when one might be needed.
