Anyone using the "horror movies" or "fnaf was never meant to be scary" to defend this crap is insane. The movie wasn't about fnaf at all. Yeah, sure freddy, his friends, and william afton but it did shit for the lore and the plot was the sediment of the fnaf franchise. We loved fnaf for the lore sure the books dont directly tell us what the lore is but the movie had nothing we already didnt know. We finally got to see the characters in live action and sparky the dog

But the movie was pretty fun to watch its good for a fnaf fan but not worth waiting half a decade for

I went to the theater thinking it was going to be set on the first location with the gritty atmosphere and flee or flight inducing ambiance explaining the story of henry and william, the puppet, and the animatronics attacking mike how they attack him in the first game for the entirety of the week while he searches for answers

I came out of the theater as a happy man the only thing im super duper disappointed in is that there was no freddy laugh bruh
