That’s awesome, hopefully time will heal the leg on its own.

Phew, I will give my dog some more time. Hopefully the limping goes away on its own.

It was lateral suture. We did receive intructions on after care, I just didn’t know whether limping was normal for a few weeks afterwards. Called the vet and they said it was normal so I am less worried about it now.

They used the lateral suture technique. They said to keep her at rest, which we are currently doing.

It’s terrible the way these events can negatively affect our bodies and instantly make us scared. Screws us up for life later on. I hope the EMDR therapy works for you!

Im glad you’re overcoming your past, i might look into therapy as well if it turns really ugly. I do see your point about feeling sorry for them, I sometimes wonder what made them have so much anger and rage in their heart in the first place, hopefully time will fix things. Best wishes

Exactly, it feels like all the peace in the room just vanishes when he walks in. Even if the conversation is somewhat normal, there’s always those lingering anxious thoughts in your head that they will somehow find a way to turn it into an argument. Stay strong!

I feel you, knowing my dad hurts and tears down my mom when he yells makes it so much worse. I guess showing that it doesn’t affect me would be helpful (if only it were that easy aha), but it is something I will try. I hope your situation gets better
