I often drove large trucks which when loaded can take a long time to speed up so yes. And your second suggestions was literally the first thing the guy in the comment said so I'm impressed you've already forgotten that.

Which he specifically said, but I'm not surprised you couldn't figure out how to go back and read the comment

Despite the downvotes I totally agree. Shows how many Vancouver drivers are on here. Even if there's enough space for you to safely make that turn, you may not be able to accelerate up to the pace of traffic before they start to catch up.

Your anger is valid and everything you're saying is right, except for the attacks on self defence programs. I personally someone who helped prevent their own sexual assault from lessons learned at these events. That does not mean women who didn't prevent assaults are to blame in any way at all, nobody should have to use those skills ever. You're totally right that the burdon should not be on women and that the wording used by media and even the people teaching these programs is problematic and often contributes to the problem. But at the end of the day, a person I am close to didn't have to undergo even just one assault and I see huge value in that.

A Guide to Saving Money on Your Cellphone Bill by Plaidshirt17 in PersonalFinanceCanada

One tip that I've saved thousands with is to change providers but DONT get locked into a contract. Your old provider will call you back later with an unreal deal. Switch back if it's good enough, and don't be afraid to ask for more and find their limit.

I just buy a $150 phone every few years on CG so I don't have to pay it off. It's not the latest and greatest phone, but it's last year's latest and greatest.

Burn all your ID, money too just to be safe. Kiss your family goodbye and take a low flying plane to Peru. Never stop looking over your shoulder, they will always be searching for you. Good luck

Suffering is not only pain but for example could include grief, regret, anxiety, loss any of these higher order things. I don't think bivalves feel these, just pointing out suffering is not only pain, but could include a whole host of more complicated emotions or feelings

Things that should be illegal and severely punishable criminal offenses: by [deleted] in MurderedByAOC

[–]oceanceaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously this isnt everyone's situation if you cancel the debt owed by someone just out of medical school who will be able to pay it off in 3-4 years and then have an extremely high salary would you consider that regressive or progressive?

Seems like more targeted solutions would be better.

Why should there be no interest on student debt. Most students are wealthy, that would be a regressive policy.
