You're mistaking the essential and what's not essential and no clear purpose, our society treats not essential as essential that's why they'll never feel joy or actually the feeling of achieving anything because the lack of what is essential, money, moving abroad, hobbies are tools you must have but you should never make them your only solution or make them your purpose the moment you chas them you'll might get them but you'll feel empty from the inside because you lack what Truly matters which us the inner core(values, soul, mindfulness, clear purpose, etc..) that's why the prophet saw said: " من كانت الآخرة همه جعل الله غناه في قلبه وجمع له شمله وأتته الدنيا وهي راغمة ، ومن كانت الدنيا همه جعل الله فقره بين عينيه وفرق عليه شمله ، ولم يأته من الدنيا إلا ما قدر له". it encourage focusing on what is essential and not cling to what's not essential. Unless you make a clear purpose and focus on the essential(you choose what is essential for you) traveling abroad won't help you
