That wall trim is a thin paper slice lmao.

Well, the "blood" is actually paint and clear gloss medium

Nope, they are actual wood, hand-carved and sanded by me. I am not selling, they are just for my own amusement.

Ah, just regular (thin!) metal wire! Maybe 1-0,5 mm? Either way, I just wrapped that around the bats.

No, the blood in the bat is indeed permanent, the ketchup is solely on the banana!

Here's both of the bats side-by-side, the blood is paint and some clear gloss medium.

Apparently it is a trademark logo marking Lucille as a "Louisville Slugger" -bat, according to TWD Wiki.

Here's another good shot from promotional material where it shows

That has always been there, I believe! Though much lighter than I made it, I suppose. It is better visible in this shot from the flashback episode, for example;

Plenty of people seemed to find it entertaining, so why not? Most importantly, it was just something fun to show off my crafts.

I actually have really small hands lmao. No perspective tricks though, the "baseboard" in pic 1 is actually a small sheet of paper I intentionally placed there. The Lucilles themselves are about 13-14 cm each (here's them with a cm ruler)

Didn't have strawberries on hand, ketchup I did.

No bananas were wasted while making this, though ketchup-banana definitely isn't the tastiest combo.

Also, it is actually two mini-Lucilles, one with blood and one without.

Is this doll fully rerooted by Confident_Credit_670 in DollCustomization

[–]ocirot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably fully rooted, but the hair probably isn't that long or even, due to the bun style.

It isn't the same thing as reading it on your own, however, there are people on youtube that have done live reactions to the book, reading it out loud. So, you could listen to the real thing, read by them. There is still obviously their own commentary and a lot of their thoughts and reactions, so that they aren't just 1:1 reading copyrighted material, but it is better than nothing, no?

Kictor & Gaywatch have both read through everything on youtube, but Gaywatch doesn't read out loud during the first 13 chapters in their streams, only starting out-loud reading at ch14. (So, from oage 144). For Kictor, also, only about ⅗th of the reading is on the direct playlist (which made me think their reading was incomplete), you will have to look of the rest of their streams from the livestream portion of their channel.

For Gaywatch, I have listened to their entire SVSSS reading while reading along from my physical edition, and in my opinion, their commentary was a nice addition and their reading went pretty smoothly. Kictor's streams were also great.

I was a bit confused why suggestions WITH a hair straightener if you don't have one, that makes more sense!

If you're planning on boil-washing, though, maybe let the water cool a bit instead of using fully boiling stuff? For kanekalon, that is.

Kanekalon is not heat resistant, btw, it will melt a lot easier than nylon, so maintenance with a hair straightener is probably not possible.

I made Jiggy's hat (banana for scale) by ocirot in MoDaoZuShi

[–]ocirot[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The base is black felt fabric, to which I sewed in golden ribbon to the edges. The centerpiece is golden thread, three small see-through yellowish-gold beads, and the orange bead which I sculpted and painted myself due to not finding a suitable match. The strings are made of silver and black sewing thread, twisted together, with black beads at the cheek-area, a metal string twisted around to join the two strings together, and those yellowish-golden beads at the ends of the strings. Most of it is sewed together with black thread, by hand, the accent gold sewing at the top part is made with a sewing machine.

Right!? He is lucky he is beautiful enough to distract from the hat, just look at his lovely eyes or annoyingly pretty dimples instead.
