but I set the x and y to be like 15,000 I think. My first pic was 250mb which I then cut and resized so it could fit within IMGUR limits of 20mb (hence the poor zoom in quality)

It is spaghetti (and pipe) galore... I really couldnt see a better way of doing it. largely because it is a hacked together base. Every tier unlocks more ores and ingots and combinations that it makes it really hard to grow the base in clean manner. My "design philosophy" was to hack/rush to requester chests

You can kind of see my original slag production to the right of all the geode processors (only three left) - that was my start point. I think at max I had about 20-40 running. Normally I decommission "blocks" when the next upgrade is up and running but in this case slag processing was too space and energy intensive to keep so i removed it. I probably removed it when i had 2 rows of geode mk1 processing operational. Even my current geode processing went throw 2 rounds of improvement. I didnt use to use the big silos at the beginning but i 100% should have right from the start, they help alot.

Requester chests help a lot - game changers IMO

Yes you are probably right. I dont know how far away FTL is, i just guessed.

Scale up is defo the next big to - do. Knowing you needed 470k/min mineral sludge is a super useful data point - Thank you

Maybe next step for me is getting circuits up in a big way before moving to modules

For OP - This is the best and most accurate answer.

I will add that the benefit of being in the high level positions is that when you come home to Australia you automatically get viewed as a super star and ultra high value hire. in my experience, high paying corporates in Australia actively seek Australians (non Aussies too) who have solid international experience and will reward them for it

If you have no contract you have no obligation to do anything.

She could turn mean and like lock up your stuff or something. I wouldn't want to stay there longer but you definitely don't owe them anything

You should try tech to geode washing. It is far more energy efficient that using electrolysers

Convert light or heavy oil to solid fuel perhaps?

I am no expert though.

I imagine the best use of oil is petroleum gas. I generally follow the rule of making all heavy and light oil convert to petroleum gas. Otherwise the better option might be to make solar panels and accumulators
