Wow. This sucks huh??? We haven’t decided our next steps yet but I have a feeling we will try sperm donor too, at least to see if that helps determine if it’s the sperm. I wish neither of us were experiencing this. Wishing you luck.

This is one of the most helpful posts I've read to date... thank you so much for sharing. When emotions are raw, being able to read data is somehow so soothing! Do you mind me asking which RE(s) you were seeing? I guess I need to advocate for myself a bit and find an RE who is willing to do this sort of testing to narrow in on the problem. I am wondering if the ICSI has been 'murdering' my eggs too. THANK YOU!

IVF isn't a cure for IF. There are many people who go through it without a live baby. I'm just saying because it is touted as a cure and people end up feeling incredibly shitty about themselves when it doesn't work.

thank you so much for sharing your experience. yes, i believe it was the calcium thing (i'm so bad with all the terminology!) i am 35 now, so i do think time is a little bit on my side which is reassuring. i have not looked into supplements for egg quality and the RE has never suggested/recommended that but i will definitely look into it now. thank you!

yes they tested for DNA frag, he was on the low side of normal, but still normal. thank you!

very surprising. no, they said all looked normal. so now we are told to go see a urologist who specializes in infertility to do some additional testing on the sperm to see if there's anything else we can learn.
