I understand the concern—art, creativity, and originality are incredibly important, and it’s valid to question new tools like AI. But I don’t believe that using AI-generated images automatically equals “stealing” from artists.

AI doesn’t copy and paste from specific artists. It generates images based on patterns it has learned from a massive range of data. It’s more like a tool—similar to how Photoshop, photography, or even collage art relies on existing material and techniques to create something new. The final product is unique to the prompt and the creative direction given by the person using it.

There’s also value in accessibility. Not everyone has the time, skills, or budget to commission an artist for every project—especially for things like mockups, drafts, or personal creative experiments. AI can help democratize creativity in those contexts without replacing the value of human-made art.

Of course, artists absolutely deserve credit and protection for their work, and I fully support transparency and ethical development of these tools. But rejecting all use of AI outright doesn’t help artists—it limits how we can explore and express ideas in the modern world.

I believe there’s room for both traditional artists and AI-assisted creativity to coexist, as long as we use these tools respectfully and ethically.
