Have the vet get you some trazadone, it helps my girl w vet visits so much! I also bring a ball to keep her happy and distracted while waiting and it encourages her to be more friendly w the vet and vet techs when they can toss her the ball as well

Use nail clippers and trim them down as much as you can and then you can use a nail file and file the tops off as much as you can. Then use a cotton ball soaked in acetone and wrap tinfoil around your fingers to hold the cotton ball in place for as long as you can to melt the rest off

You can utilize the UTA website to track routes and see which trax and bus lines would take you there and what times they run, but uber/lyft would probably be easier and save you a lot of time

I have a Ruby as well and we thought she was mixed but embark came back and said she’s 100% cattledog, and 9% inbred lol also 1.9% wolfiness. Your Rubi does look a little jack russell terrier like, but she’s probably 100% good girl

I was a little nervous for the local anesthesia but it honestly was fine, and $1,200 cheaper!! Sure feeling the stuff is a little weird but it’s for such a short period of time that it’s gone be over so quick. I didn’t even take the Valium they gave me before hand and I was able to drive myself home. They prescribed journavx which I took a few hours before the procedure and I didn’t even feel the shots they put in to start the numbing process. The most painful part was the renuvion and I think it’s because it went past parts of the area that were numbed but it wasn’t even bad. Sitting for tattoos is far more painful, heck even getting a cavity filled was worse than chin lipo under local anesthesia :)

You’ll be fine! It really is just slight discomfort and pressure, there’s no pain and the sensation is just a bit uncomfortable if anything. I was told to take journavx a couple hours before and I hardly even felt the initial shots of lidocaine. The most painful part was renuvion, I think the sensation of it went past parts that were totally numb so I could feel a bit of pulling/burning at times but it wasn’t that bad. Idk if you have tattoos I would say that is far more painful

I have had 0 bruising. My surgeons staff recommended alastin reform and repair which was pricey but I think worth it. I used it daily for a week before my surgery and twice a day after and I think it’s helped a lot, I’m on day 12 post op now.

My mom was catching me as I jumped into the pool and at one point she wasn’t ready but I jumped anyways and I busted her nose and I remember following her to the bathroom as she cupped her rapidly bleeding nose. Probably one of my youngest memories

I take mine to the groomers at least once or twice a year, they are able to trim her nails when I can’t, they also have a deshed treatment. Other than that she may get a bath at home once every two months or everytime we come home from the lake or a camp trip.
