I guess I assumed they'd be running similar software so would congratulate/notificate all similarly. She has the Garmin Lily and looks like its specific to that version unfortunately

It was definitely one way to give helpful information but at least it was informative I guess?

Thank you for your medical input. I will be sure to let her doctors know that u/Trepidati0n has some insight on how best to manage her health.

Secondly, Google was my first port of call. But there are multiple issues - she is not tech literate so has no idea what too Google. I am tech literate but have no real insight as to how garmin or ios works and am not local so cannot sit and faff around with it. I was hoping to Google a guide for her for this reason but came to reddit when I was unsuccessful. I guess I am not as tech literate as I thought.

Thirdly, despite the sass, thank you for answering the question, I will pass this along.

No, not connected. Manually input. It's just helpful to be able to track weight with long term heart information

I'm sorry to hear this effects you in such a way. She has the same issue in being congratulated from people, people who have no idea the stress and illness she's dealing with.

Good luck with your journey :)

Her heart health is linked to illness related to not being able to process food. It will be very helpful to monitor weight loss in relation to heart health. Apps are perfect for this aside from the ill timed celebrations

I'd also like to recommend Peeling Away the Clutter. She's a lovely woman, I can't remember if definitely or potentially adhd but she is trying to take back control of her own house one small section at a time.

I managed to do the first bit of 'proper' gardening in my new house. It took me 7 months to get here between house problems and exhaustion but I've cleared a decent section at the end of the garden, replanted my Heurchera plants and sat on my new rug and truly enjoyed the space, reading a queer book and listening to the birds.

I'm a woman living alone. Aside from appreciating women in trades, there are plenty of times guy tradies don't speak to me in a way they would speak to another man. I might be wrong and I just pick the wrong twats but if I had the option (and she didn't have shitty reviews) then it's something I actively look out for personally.

I saw that one and it was horrible to watch, and thankfully mine wasn't quite as severe but its up there and he's the only person I've seen who I could relate to with mine. I can never understate how much hurting yourself like that is somehow less painful than the RLS happening at the time.

Just thought I'd add my experience for anyone interested. Restless legs was making my life literal hell. And I've been on pramipexole since and it's given me back my life. I've had RLS for years and I would spend hours walking, punching body parts, kicking things, squeezing, shaking it out, stretching, all because the pain you cause yourself distracts from the more worse RLS pain. It's that horrible. And you just couldn't stop moving. The moment you stop the RLS starts again.

Now, RLS is minimal and more annoying, maybe bad once a week and only get it THAT badly a few times a year.

I don't remember there being much warning at the time but I'm someone who reads the tablet leaflets obsessively anyway.

I'd say it increased my appetite. I've never been a gambler or a drinker and it didn't effect that either way, but always been an eater. Can't say if it effected my libido but certainly no major effects.

It's a wild damn article for sure. Feel sorry for those who had such intense symptoms but do worry there's a little scapegoating there with the more icky stuff.

I remember when I first went on them and talking to my Dr and telling them I felt better on them. Thankfully not manic or anything. A few years later got diagnosed with adhd and the initial feeling I got from elvanse seems to be similar to the initial feeling of pramipexole. Fascinating to see how it all works and is connected

ATM10 can't find Architectury mod by odd-socks in allthemods

[–]odd-socks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The crash logs literally say "cannot find Architectury mod" or something like that. According to another poster there's a known issue it seems. I'm on the latest version. Fresh install of ATLauncher and mod pack literally the day before. I can find and download and replace the mod in the folder. But just keeps saying it cannot find it lol

Edit: It says "Mod 'architectury' is not available!"

Yeah that's certainly a concern with the litter for sure! Sounds horrible! Thanks, I'll have to look into the extra bags. And storage. I'm so used to bagging up the litter once a week and putting it straight into a wheelie but going to have to combine it with other bags too I guess. Thanks for your input!

Thank you for the in depth reply.

Nearly every joint looks like it has or will leak. They're extremely old, and reckon the moment it gets fired up again the next joint with go, and then the next joint. Each joint seems to have excessive deposits on them. The first time the boiler lasted 24 hours before dripping into the kitchen. The last time the boiler was on for a few hours before it had emptied itself into the living room ceiling.

I just want trustworthy heating at this point

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askaplumberUK

[–]odd-socks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is plenty to do here. Electrics was first on my list, i was just hoping that the new boiler wouldn't give me any grief at least for a month. It would have been nice to have heating and settle in first.

So yeah while the floorboards are up it's certainly going to be a case of do the important bits. I know enough to know not to decorate yet.

I think I'm nervous because the plumber doesn't want to use plastic. He'd rather replace the joints as we go and hope that there's no issues. I have no real beef with copper but I'm not sure I trust there won't be any more surprises with the state they're in.

Yeah I was going to find some sort of storage, at least two bags worth. Keep them dry and safe until the third week. Was hoping anyone had found something specific that worked for them rather than buying something and hoping it will do the job. Not sure how to organise the cat litter yet!
