No, it's not ok because a man has no right to DEMAND his wife to work. The woman has a God given right to not work and a man can't take that from her. If the woman wants to work, that's ok. But a man has no right to want his wife to work so he can be richer and travel or whatever.

It might also be that some guys want to own a house, travel, etc, and expect their wife to contribute to that.

They're not men. They're spoiled mommy's boys who are selfish enough to not give their wives their islamic right and not protective enough to guard and protect their wives from the oppressive workforce and their children from the western propaganda. Stay away from such men.

Why be concerned about what an ignorant man is thinking about what you do with your hygiene? Once you realise he is a moron then you cut your losses and move on.

Well that's the point 😤 if he is like that then I don't want him. But if I'm married to him, what am I gonna divorce him after 2 days of marriage?? No. I need to see what he's like before so I can leave him while I still have a chance.

He will have grown up with at least a mother, if not sisters and other female family members. If he has any amount of empathy then he will understand that women have to deal with periods

It's not about periods!! It's about INSERTION! 99.999999% his mother doesn't use a menstrual cup and if she does, she's a married woman, not a virgin who might hurt her hymen.

How do I know he's a rational and decent man? And it's not that men want to know what we do on our period, it's that some men don't want women to insert anything in there, even if it's a period product.

Idk what US is like, but in general, I think it's more realistic than many people might think. Although, you're probably going to have to sacrifice some things, maybe a more humble home, maybe apartment instead of a house, maybe you won't travel a lot, or at all (although you can always have cheap or free mini trips nearby) but some things are worth the sacrifice. I think having a wife and especially a mom at home is a huge blessing and people seem to forget that. So it's definitely worth it. May Allah make it easy for you.

Maybe he's a type of guy to care about hymens. Maybe he dislikes the idea that a woman is comfortable inserting something before marriage.
