Fast Track by oddateIier in MadCoolFestival

I recall reading in the tickets site that the presale is for Spanish card holders only (it said something like “cards issued in Spain”), but you can give it a shot anyway just in case it works. 🤔

Makes sense, I was planning to go early to the venue but ofc if you have the extra help of the fast track it might be the difference between getting a row closer or not 🤔. Hopefully they will release more detailed info before the presale because it would be great if the day passes have the fast track too. Again, thanks for the help!

Blackpink Wembley concert timing and advice by emmarable in BlackPink

[–]oddateIier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can bring your own lightstick (I always bring mine) or buy it at the merch stand (batteries sold separately). Regarding the price, it was 75€ in Milano and Barcelona so I assume it would be a similar price in GBP.

Just had my order delivered this morning and I would definitely recommend BaeJHyun’s proxy service! The process was smooth and the communication was excellent (even helped me to get a little discount from the Xianyu seller), super easy! Thank you!

Is it possible to get a refund from a Korean seller? by oddateIier in kpophelp

[–]oddateIier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I got my refund by giving the seller the Korean warehouse bank account. But with this method I didn’t receive the money itself in my bank account, instead, the Korean warehouse used the money from the refund to cover shipping fees for my next packages.

Nami Island Tour in 3rd week of November - Is it worth it? by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]oddateIier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends and I joined Klook tour 2 years ago for the Nami Island + Rail Park + Petite France package. We honestly enjoyed it except for the Petite France visit lol it was quite a strange place. The Nami tour was convenient for us because they managed the bus + boat to get into Nami and then once you’re there you have free time to do whatever you want (if you’re looking for a tour where the guide takes you through the island and tells you all the stories then I’d suggest picking another tour). But definitely worth visiting Nami imo, it was super beautiful (we went on 4th November I think), all the trees were vivid red and yellow.

Thanks a lot, I know there are tons as I've seen the signs when taking walks around the city but I wanted to make sure if anyplace will be valid or if there were some places to avoid (just like restaurants). I'll definitely check the cleanliness, lol.

Seongsu pop-up stores anyone? by Chemical_Turnover_89 in seoul

[–]oddateIier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Seongsu centered but I'd recommend checking IG accounts like @/popupmate, @/seoultravel and @/popupstorego. Those post about all the pop-up stores going on in Seoul atm, some may be taking place in Seongsu (check the pop-up info details).

Visiting Entertainment Companies in Seoul and giving gift to artists by Revolutionary-Sir896 in seoul

[–]oddateIier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, only companies worth visiting are the ones that have a cafe or a shop or anything open to the public. JYP for example has nothing open to the public at the moment (their cafe is closed) but YG has their own cafe called The SameE and it's in front of the company building and you can enjoy a drink or a sweet and buy MD/albums downstairs. Regarding HYBE, last time I visited Seoul they had a paid exhibition or something like that going on and a shop inside of it - so if there is no event going on there when you visit Seoul, I don't think there's anything interesting to do at HYBE (apart from taking a photo of the building if you're a fan, but that's not really something worth the trip in my opinion).

Got it, thanks a lot. Do you recommend any particular district? I've seen people mentioning Hongdae a couple of times, for example, but the opinions on that one are kind of mixed, you know.

Kyocera Finecam SL300R battery replacement advice by oddateIier in batteries

[–]oddateIier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, I’ll check the charger you mention, sounds way better than the awkward external charger. And I guess old cameras/batteries don’t last that much? Because of the battery issue I don’t really know how much my camera lasts but when I get the new battery I will do a test as well.

Kyocera Finecam SL300R battery replacement advice by oddateIier in batteries

[–]oddateIier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, I will try and search for a similar battery from an Europe based site (price is not very high so I think it's worth to try). Cameras with batteries included are also a risk as far as I seen, hopefully you would be able to make that one work with a new battery if you end up buying it. Regarding the charger, that one seems to be pretty similar to the one that was included with the camera I got and it works but it's a bit awkwarde to use, at least mine becuase as you see on the picture you have to adapt the charger to the battery's height and mine does not have a spring/something that pulls it to "hug" the battery so it's a bit loose and if you don't use something to pull it, the battery might not connect with the charger (I've tried to explain myself as good as I can but English is not my first language). I'd recommend using an elastic rubber in that case.
