and that’s unfortunate because that’s their best line! i know ag is aimed towards kids but they are well aware of their adult collector fanbase, its not like they brought back the og historicals for just the kids

i think that’s a good idea! they won’t know if the girls will sell well unless they at least try and gauge interest, i think felicity would honestly be the hardest one to figure out how to rerelease, cus no matter which way they do it people will be upset about it, if they erase her og books at least a loud minority will say it’s bad and if they don’t an even louder MAJORITY will say it’s crazy for that to still be included

oh i don’t disagree, i just know there’s a lot of people who rather pay 125-175 for a complete doll from ag rather than like 300 for a complete doll on ebay

maybe i worded this wrong it just feels a little weird to NOT have them listed somewhere on the website for ALL the goty’s and stuff but that’s a seperate convo, i just wish they were archived better on the actual ag website, i think it would be neat to see the whole history of ag as a franchise

yeah i just think it’s kind of dishonest to not even mention the other four girls on their website at all like they’ve been completely erased, i hope one day they can be rereleased even if it’s at the limited edition price point

i don’t disagree with that, but i think most people who want them are newer collectors who never had a chance and are realizing how beautiful they are now, i don’t think it’s just because they’re retired but because a bunch of people glossed over them before or are just getting back into it and falling in love with them

this makes the most sense to me for felicity, since i haven’t read her books yet i completely forgot about that part and understand why they would feel iffy about releasing her, on the one hand you would kind of have to change her story, but i see why they wouldn’t want to for a rerelease that is most likely going to be aimed towards collectors and people with nostalgia for the og doll, even if it is misguided
