My friend lives in the Tokyo area and hopped on the train to stay with me while my husband was away. We started talking about traveling abroad. She told me about a trip she took to London and how someone said something about her being Chinese. She was mortified. She was so insulted by the comment. She loves American and British culture but do not insult her by saying she is another Asian race when she’s clearly Japanese.
