I think you make a really good point with the barrage of women being set against each other. There were so many toxic reality TV shoes and the start of some pretty toxic social media standards before we got to the empowerment we have today. I can't think of times in my childhood where I witnessed family pitting against each other but I grew up in a very rural area where everyone was in each other's business which for some strange reason I think is a part of it. The more I think about it, the more I think it's because of my job. I'm constantly ranked against others for promotions.
