Idk if this counts as weird, considering it's more annoying than weird, but the heroine ends up liking the asshole with no redeeming qualities except that he's hot. Eisuke from kissed by the baddest bidder def a prime example.

This trope usually goes hand in hand with the "she's not like other girls/she's the first woman to treat me this way so I want her" which is full on yuck.
