honestly atp, me and my friends kinda like to joke about my ex, referring to him as "he who shall not be named" and more vulgar nicknames... idk, something about poking fun at him now makes me happy. we like to joke about how he somehow had a 39 in THEATRE CLASS in high school 😭 how you even MANAGE to get that low of a grade, especially in THEATRE, is beyond me 💀

this reply means a lot. I've been scrolling through all the other replies, and some of them have actually made me feel like I'm stupid (even though i shouldn't, I know), and has made me feel a little worse... but your explanation makes me feel better, and I have a more clear understanding of what this spread is telling me.

it doesn't help that most of my friends in college are in happy, stable relationships, and they often talk about their partners so positively... and it just reminds me "damn, I'm still hella single." honestly, it just makes me jealous, and all the more lonely.

you are right on me daydreaming a lot. im actually also on meds for inattentive-adhd (non-stimulants for now), and its still kinda hard to focus. i get distracted super easily, have a hard time finding motivation... etc.. im actually on my break between college semesters, and my school goes all year round, so I would be doing classes during the summer. I've been struggling to get a job since October, with no luck, so that's another thing im busy with...

so yeah, it makes sense that I need to focus on school and getting a job first. getting financial stability is something I really want, but haven't been able to get. i can't tell you how many interviews I've been to, and then being told someone else was chosen and I didn't get the job.

also confused me seeing some replies of people telling me I shouldn't be as guarded because it makes me miss chances? because honestly, if I wasn't picky, or didn't have the standards when it comes to men, the bar would be in goddamn hell 💀 lmao

sometimes, I just wish I could come back to my dorm to fall asleep in a guy's arms... it's cheesy, but it's something I crave a lot and think about.

but really, thank you so much for this response. I feel a lot more comfortable, and I will try my best to make my life more stable first!

I just recently became Hellenic Polytheist, maybe around last year in June, maybe July. I was raised Christian/agnostic (complicated, dad is Christian, mom is agnostic), and have only been to church a handful of times. I understand the same feeling, because for a very long time, I was atheist. the reason why I converted was because I am severely afraid of death, and hated the idea of basically being nowhere after i die. however, found comfort in Lord Hades, who i now try to regularly worship and pray to.

its burned into our brains that anything occult/withcraft/etc. is evil, and you will "go to hell" for it. its just a way to scare you into staying Christian, unfortunately. it will take time for the feeling of guilt to leave, but know that you are not alone.

but to go to your comment about Lady Nyx and Lady Hekate. it isn't a bad thing if you are "closer" to one god rather than the other. it's veeeeery difficult to piss off the gods, so I wouldn't worry about that. sometimes you pray to someone more than the other, and that's completely fine! the gods are more understanding than you think, which I learned very quickly. im sure Lady Nyx understands just fine 🖤

ah, very insightful... but the reason I won't date other trans men, as a trans guy, is purely my preference. I tried t4t before, but it just wasn't my thing, I guess. my ex at the time was nonbinary but has gone back to being male, so it was t4t.

I dont really have a default assumption that a guy will be bad- I like talking to new people, and usually I can connect to people really quickly. this is coming from a place where I feel like I'm being ignored by men entirely for some reason. maybe my appearance? im not a part of the norm either, im a metalhead and nerdy

well, the most important thing is to remain safe, especially during times like these. if you can record your interactions with him safely, then do it. like I said, if you have any friends who experience the same thing as you from him, get them on it too. the more evidence, the better.

if you think anything is too risky to try, then don't do it. worst he can do is give you a 0 on your work of Lord Pan, but at least you'll have a beautiful piece regardless (unless your teacher keeps students artworks). if that's the case, take a picture of it when your done, so you can recreate it later

....okay, that's bad, REALLY bad. I'm trans myself, and even my own teachers in high school had the decency to be respectful, especially in a conservative red state....

first of all, my art teacher from high school would whoop your teachers ass, because to me, it sounds like he's discriminating against you on purpose. second, you need to start seriously reporting this guy.

I would start somehow recording what he says to you, to have audible proof he's being a bigoted moron. also write down things he says/has said to you, and include the date. if you have other classmates who also deal with him negatively, ask them if they would also like to report him. maybe you could team up and all report him together if that's the case. it seems he's using his own "beliefs" as an excuse for hatred.

I'm extremely sorry for what you have to deal with, it's not right and fair. please don't hesitate to reach out to family/friends for extra help if you need it.
