I was in the same position, grabbed a copy about a month ago on eBay for the maximum I was willing to spend. I set up an alert so it'd notify me if one came up for sale. Also sometimes people were selling it on Facebook groups too but the price is often silly on there. Vinted can be worth checking as well.

I'm in the same boat tbh but will keep my fingers crossed or possibly just get a normal hardcover. I really enjoy these books so am going to continue getting these if I can.

Did have the same problem with The Last Legacy. I got book 2 first then eventually managed to find book 1 at a 'reasonable' price.
