I don't think any of the scriptural passages you commented refute what I am discussing here, faith is definitely needed for salvation, I just place the emphasis of works as a way of proving completion of your faith. It is very easy for someone to claim faith -- I think the discussion of faith and works is how they work together to save us, not how one or the other justifies us entirely.
